Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County partnered with Bluebird Creative to commemorate a milestone moment—their 100th anniversary. The goal was to develop a cohesive visual identity system that honored a century of impact while energizing donors, stakeholders, and the community for the next chapter.
Our team created a comprehensive anniversary brand package, including a custom centennial logo, event-ready step and repeat design, promotional materials (buttons, collateral, and branded assets), and a polished case for support to strengthen fundraising efforts. Each element was designed to be flexible, celebratory, and aligned with the organization’s legacy and mission.
A 100-year milestone carries both opportunity and pressure. The visual identity needed to strike a careful balance—celebrating history without feeling dated, while also inspiring forward momentum with modern, compelling design.
Additionally, the materials had to perform across multiple environments: large-scale events, donor communications, community outreach, and fundraising campaigns. The case for support, in particular, required thoughtful storytelling and design to clearly articulate impact, build emotional connection, and drive meaningful contributions.
Ensuring consistency across all touch points—while equipping the internal team with usable, scalable assets—was critical to the project’s success.
Centennial Branding
Creating a brand that captures the impact of 100 years while still feeling forward-looking is a challenge in itself. Our team explored a range of creative directions before landing on a solution that balanced both: integrating elements of the traditional Boys & Girls Club logo lockup with a clean, modern “100” mark.
To further elevate the identity, we introduced gold into the color palette—aligned with 100th anniversary guidelines—as a celebratory, limited-time brand accent that reinforced the significance of the milestone.

Expanding the Brand
Once the 100th anniversary branding and standards were established, our team expanded the system across a full suite of promotional and event assets, along with a complementary 100-year timeline. This timeline became a central storytelling device—integrated into both the event step and repeat and the case for support.
Collaborating closely with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County team, we worked to identify and distill key historical milestones into a cohesive narrative. Translating a century of impact into clear, meaningful moments was both a creative challenge and a deeply purposeful process—ensuring every touchpoint honored the past while reinforcing the organization’s ongoing impact.
The Project Pinnacle: Fundraising Tools
At the center of this project was the Case for Support—designed to tell the broader story of a century of impact on both the organization and the community. Leveraging the 100th anniversary branding system, paired with key impact data and the emotional resonance of the historical timeline, the piece became a powerful narrative tool.
More than just a collateral asset, the Case for Support served as the foundation for fundraising efforts throughout the centennial year—aligning storytelling, design, and strategy to inspire engagement and drive meaningful support.

The final anniversary identity system delivered a cohesive and elevated brand presence that carried seamlessly across events, campaigns, and donor communications.
- The centennial logo provided a strong, recognizable mark to anchor all anniversary efforts
- Event materials, including the step and repeat and promotional items, created a polished and celebratory on-site experience
- The case for support equipped the organization with a compelling, professionally designed tool to communicate impact and inspire giving
Together, these assets helped position the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County to celebrate their legacy with credibility and pride—while strengthening engagement and fundraising efforts to support the next 100 years of impact.
