Annual Report Design & Paid Media | Downtown Fort Worth, Inc.
Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. (DFWI) is the city's leading organization for planning, advocacy, public space management, and project execution. As a key connector among property owners, residents, businesses, and policymakers, DFWI does the behind-the-scenes work that keeps Downtown vibrant, accessible, and moving forward.
That kind of civic work is vital, but it is not always easy to see. DFWI needed a creative partner who could translate a broad, year-round mission into materials people can actually feel: clear, polished, and compelling enough to land with a room full of diverse stakeholders. Bluebird Creative has filled that role across several years and a range of projects, from the organization's flagship Annual Report to fundraising collateral and digital advertising.
DFWI's Annual Meeting is the moment the organization tells its story for the year, presenting progress, priorities, and vision to the people who shape Downtown's future. The materials behind that moment have to do a lot at once. They need to make a year of complex civic work feel concrete and worth celebrating, hold up in a high-visibility setting, and on tight print deadlines that leave no room for delay.
Beyond the Annual Meeting, DFWI faced a different kind of challenge out in the community: perception. Plenty of people assume Downtown is hard to reach or expensive to park in, even when that is not the case. Changing that belief meant reaching potential visitors where they already were and giving them a simple, concrete reason to come Downtown.
Annual Report + Annual Meeting
Bluebird has led the creative development of DFWI's Annual Report programs and books since 2021, the centerpiece unveiled at the organization's Annual Meeting each year. We approach each report as an editorial, branded piece, using clear storytelling and design to turn a year of initiatives into a narrative stakeholders can follow and feel proud of. Alongside the report, we design the supporting event collateral, from the presentation deck to signage and invitations, so the entire meeting experience feels cohesive. Every piece ships on tight print timelines, which we consistently meet through efficient review and fast turnaround.

Heritage + Paddock Parks Book
To support DFWI's fundraising efforts, we produced a leave-behind book for the Heritage and Paddock Parks initiative. The piece gives the DFWI team a tangible, professional tool to put in front of donors, carrying the vision for these public spaces in a format designed to open conversations and build support.

Paid Media
To tackle the accessibility perception head-on, we executed a geo-fenced digital ad campaign targeting high-traffic areas just outside Downtown, including Dickies Arena, Central Market, and Magnolia Street. The ads promoted free night and weekend parking, reaching people who were already nearby and giving them a clear, friendly nudge to spend more time Downtown.
The 2026 Annual Meeting marked a milestone moment for DFWI, and Bluebird played a central role in shaping the visual identity and experience of the event. From a polished, content-rich Annual Report deck to thoughtfully designed collateral, every element reflected the organization's accomplishments and future direction. The materials drew enthusiastic feedback from stakeholders and attendees, reinforcing DFWI's leadership and impact in Fort Worth. The work has continued to support the organization's broader goals as well: the Heritage Park leave-behind has become a valuable tool in daily donor conversations.
